I am an Australian educated Physiotherapist with additional training in Pilates and Acupuncture (Therapeutic and Cosmetic).
My experience extends to public and private clinics in Australia, England, Scotland and Sweden. I have also worked as a Sports Therapist, providing team coverage for swimming, basketball, soccer and cheerleading. I am currently working as the Sports and Rehabilitation Therapist for Twisters Cheer Elite, Stockholms Kungar Rugby League and Exiles Rugby Football club here in Stockholm.
I take a holistic approach to physical health and rehabilitation combining many years of physiotherapy practice with complementary therapies.
Let’s work together to help you regain your natural balance, so your body and mind can function at their full potential.
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into the soft tissues of the body. It can be used to treat a wide range of common health problems and to reduce pain and aid recovery from acute and chronic conditions.
Acupuncture stimulates the body to produce endorphins and oxytocin, which are pain and stress relieving hormones. It can also promote sleep by stimulating the release of melatonin and encourages a sense of wellbeing by increasing the release of serotonin.
I use acupuncture as an adjunct to other treatments, for a more holistic approach and better results.
Can’t choose between a massage or acupuncture? Try both! This treatment will leave your sore muscles feeling relaxed and refreshed.

What Is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture (also known as Aesthetic Acupuncture or Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture) treats the visible signs of ageing but also promotes a general improvement in overall health and vitality. It is a natural alternative to Botox but instead of focussing on just one area, cosmetic acupuncture works to improve the look of the entire face.
How Does It Work?
Through the stimulation of facial muscles, cosmetic acupuncture improves the health and appearance of your skin, overall muscle tone, tightens pores and increases circulation. When a needle is inserted, it stimulates a local immune response and the body reacts by sending red blood cells and important nutrients to the area.
There is also an increase in the production of collagen, the protein responsible for tightness and vibrancy of the skin. This helps to fill in wrinkles and plump the skin for a more youthful appearance.
What Does A Treatment Involve?
A 75 minute treatment involves the use of detoxification points, body points and facial points which are chosen based on the location of wrinkles, discolorations and areas of loose skin. The session ends with a relaxing facial massage to maximise the benefits of the treatment.
New to Acupuncture? This introductory treatment will leave you feeling relaxed and looking revitalised.

Massage is beneficial for relieving pain, enhancing functionality of the body and promoting healing. It also addresses stress, anxiety and depression by promoting relaxation and improving general health and wellbeing.
Sports Massage helps to restore mobility in injured muscle tissue, boost performance and maintain the body’s overall condition – extending the lifespan of your athletic career.
Deep Tissue Massage focuses on areas of tension and pain to release the deep muscle layers and fascia with slow, deep pressure.
Relaxation Massage is performed with lighter pressure and less emphasis on deep muscle release. It has substantial health benefits which include improved circulation, stimulation of the lymphatic system and calming of the nervous system.

The aim of rehabilitation is to optimise your body’s functionality and wellbeing, and to integrate you back into your normal lifestyle after an incident that has left you with pain or decreased mobility.
I focus on rehabilitation for recovery from injury, disease, or surgery and also management of chronic conditions. Rehabilitation can also benefit those who have become deconditioned as a result of ongoing health issues.
It is important to begin rehabilitation as soon as possible after any incident to achieve the best possible result.
